Knowledge Sharing and Digital Libraries in Indonesia : Facing Lot of Constraints and Chaellenges to Disseminate the S&T Information For the Society

There are many definitions about digital library, however, this paper used the definition taken from Digital Library Federation which stated that digital library as organizations that provide the science and technology resources, including the specialized staff, to select, structure, offer intellectual access to interpret, distribute, preserve the integrity of, end ensure the persistence over time of collections of digital works so that they are readily and economically available for use by defined community or set of communities.
