Active Database for Real-Time Computing

Real-time computing can be found in many different types of applications such as traffic control systems, telecommunication systems, manufacturing applications, stock market and trading transactions, military command and control systems. A real-time application that monitors its surroundings and is required to react immediately based on an occurred event need an active database system that is able to detect the event and condition to perform an action based on its certain rules specification.
